Tryout nerves just mean your body got the memo that this matters.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

The physical signs of nerves and the physical signs of readiness are almost identical, which is why they are so easy to misread. Your heart rate rises because your system is preparing to perform, not because it is warning you off. Caring is the cause, and if it did not matter you would feel nothing.

Rename the feeling in the moment, out loud if you can, as your body getting ready. Then do your normal warmup exactly as you would on any other day. Routine gives the energy somewhere to go instead of letting it circle.
