Nobody writes a comeback while they’re still sulking. Get up first, the story comes later.

LEADERSHIP
Feeling terrible after a setback is reasonable and has a natural length. What extends it is waiting to feel better before doing anything, since motivation usually follows action rather than arriving before it. Recovery almost always starts with something unremarkable done while still flat. The story that makes sense of it gets assembled afterward, once there is something to assemble.
Give yourself a defined stretch to be miserable, then take one small step whether or not the feeling has lifted. Go to the session, send the message, open the file. Momentum is built rather than waited for.
How long have you been sulking instead of starting again?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
