Posting while you’re furious is signing a contract you didn’t read.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Anger narrows what you can see to the part that feels justified, which is exactly the wrong amount of information for something permanent. The feeling fades in a few hours. The post does not, and it gets read later by people who were not there for the reason. You end up agreeing to consequences you never considered, because consequences were not what you were thinking about.
Write it if you need to write it, then leave it in drafts overnight. If it still seems right in the morning, send it. Almost nothing loses value by waiting twelve hours.
What did you send angry that you wish you had not?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
