Words get their force from being rare. If you swear on things every day about whether you already sent the text, the phrase turns into noise, and on the day you genuinely need somebody to believe something important you have nothing left to reach for. Language inflates the same way money does.
Notice how often you reach for it this week. Most of the time you can say the thing plainly and it carries fine on its own. Keep the big words in reserve so they still mean something when you actually need them.
How often do you promise certainty you do not actually have?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
