That message you’ve drafted for months? Either send it or delete it. It shouldn’t live in your notes forever.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

A message that lives unsent is doing something to you every time you see it. It keeps a decision permanently open, which costs more energy than either answer would, and the longer it sits the more weight it collects until sending starts to feel impossible. Storage is not neutral here. It is a slow drain dressed up as keeping your options open.

Give it a deadline this week. Read it once, decide whether the person hearing it would make your life better or only louder, then either press send or delete the whole thing. Both endings are fine, and the middle is the only bad option.
