Tell someone when a kid’s being bullied. You’re not starting drama; you’re ending it.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
The word drama often does quiet work on behalf of whoever is causing harm, because it makes reporting sound like joining in. What is happening to that person is not a storyline, and staying silent is not neutrality, it is just the outcome the situation already has. Telling an adult changes how many people know, which is usually what breaks it.
Pick one adult who has been reliable before and say it plainly. You do not need proof or a plan. You also do not have to tell the person you did it, though they often end up glad.
Who is getting picked on while you decide whether to speak?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
