Everything scary becomes normal once you do it enough. Driving, talking, leading. All of it.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Anything frightening loses its charge through repetition rather than through insight. Driving, ordering for yourself, speaking up, running a practice: each felt impossible until about the fifth time, and then became something you did without a pulse spike. The difficulty was never really the task, it was the newness.

Take the thing you have been avoiding and schedule it more than once. Three attempts inside two weeks will do more than three months of thinking about it. Expect the first one to feel bad and count it anyway.
