Everything around you was designed by somebody, including the chair you hate. Ask how you’d fix it.

CREATIVITY
Every object around you is the frozen result of somebody’s decisions, including the bad ones. The chair that hurts your back, the door handle that sticks, the form that asks the same question twice. Once you see those as choices rather than facts, the world turns into a workshop. Design stops being a subject and becomes a way of looking.
Pick one thing that annoys you daily and sketch a fixed version, even roughly. Ask what the original designer might have been solving for, since annoying is often the leftover of some other constraint. Do that often enough and you start noticing your own work the same way.
