Being “the idea person” is nice. Being the one who actually built something is better.

Having a good idea is far more common than anyone admits. What is rare is the boring middle: the third week, the part that is not fun, the thousand small resolutions nobody will ever see. Being known for ideas is comfortable because an idea never meets reality and never comes back with notes. Building costs something, and that cost is why finished work carries weight.
Take the smallest idea in your list and finish it this month, badly if necessary. One finished thing changes how people hear the next idea you describe. It also changes what you believe about yourself, which matters more.
Which of your ideas has actually left your head?
