Timing is part of the decision.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

When you act is not separate from what you do; it is part of the same decision and deserves the same thought. Treating timing as an afterthought means half the decision is being made unconsciously, usually by whatever you happen to feel that day. Bringing it into the open improves both halves.

When you evaluate an option, evaluate its timing explicitly alongside it. Ask whether this is the right thing and whether this is the right moment, and write down both answers. A good thing at a bad time is a different decision entirely.
