A small daily streak of making things beats one giant weekend binge.

Skill is built by frequency more than by total hours. Short sessions repeated keep the thing loaded in your head, so each time you start in the middle rather than the beginning, and your hands hold on to what they last learned. A long gap resets most of that, which is why a huge weekend session leaves you feeling busy and not much better.
Pick an amount you could manage on your worst day, then do that. Twenty minutes, one page, one sketch. Keep it small enough that skipping it never has a decent excuse.
Could you make something small for ten minutes daily?
