As long as something exists only in your head or your drawer, its possibilities are entirely theoretical. Making it public is what allows other people to act on it, connect to it, and offer things you could not have arranged yourself. Exposure is the mechanism that converts potential into events.

Take something you have been holding and put it where at least a few relevant people will see it. Do not wait for the perfect venue. The point is to make it possible for anything to happen at all.
