When everything looks blurry, check the lens before you blame the view. Sometimes you just need sleep.

RESILIENCE
When everything looks bleak or impossible, the problem is sometimes the state you are in rather than the situation itself. Tiredness changes how things appear without announcing itself, so the judgement feels accurate and objective while it is coming from a body that badly needs sleep. Checking the physical basics first stops you making large decisions through a dirty window.
Before you conclude anything major, ask when you last slept properly, ate, or went outside. Fix whichever is missing and look again tomorrow. If it still looks the same then, it is real and worth taking seriously.
How much sleep were you on when everything felt hopeless?
