Belief is easy to perform and hard to locate. With music playing and people around you, you cannot tell what is yours and what is the room. Quiet strips the audience out, and whatever is left when nothing is asked of you is the actual shape of your faith.

Take ten minutes this week with the phone in another room and nothing scheduled. Do not aim for a profound experience, just stay there and see what surfaces. Whatever comes up is worth bringing to God rather than fixing alone.
