Pray for your teachers. They’re tired too and nobody’s asking about them.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Teachers arrive carrying their own week and are expected to hold thirty other people’s. Nobody at school asks them how they are, and the job has no obvious place for that question to land. Praying for them costs nothing and quietly changes how you see the person at the front, which tends to change how you behave in the room.

Pick one teacher, including the one you find difficult, and pray for them by name this week. Ask for something specific, like rest or patience or whatever they seem short of. Then say one normal human thing to them on the way out.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Which teacher of yours looked worn out this week?
