You don’t know what they went home to last night. Go easy on the judgment.

Everyone arrives at school carrying a night you did not see. The rude answer, the person asleep at the back, the one who snapped over nothing, all of it has a context you cannot see. Knowing that does not excuse behaviour, it just slows your conclusions down.
Try adding the words, I do not know what happened to them last night, before you decide about somebody this week. Ask one question instead of forming one verdict. You will be wrong less often and kinder by accident.
Who did you judge quickly without knowing their evening?
