The group chat can vote you out. It can’t vote you out of God’s family.

Being cut out of a chat is a genuinely horrible feeling, and it says more about the group than about your standing anywhere else. There is one belonging that does not run on votes, that nobody administers and nobody can revoke. Both things are true at once, and the second does not make the first stop hurting.

If you have been shut out, let it hurt without treating it as a verdict on you. Tell one person, and tell God, rather than sitting with it alone. Then go where you are wanted, because that place exists even when it is not this one.
