Purpose is less about finding your thing and more about finding your people to serve.

Purpose gets treated as a hidden object, as if there is one correct activity you have to identify before your life can start. Almost everything worth doing is the answer to somebody’s need, and the need usually shows up before the calling does. Serving people is how the thing gets found, not what you do after you find it.

Look at who is actually near you, at home, at school, in your church. Ask what any of them could use that you are able to give. Do that for a few months and the question will have quietly answered part of itself.
