Restoration takes longer than ruin. God is patient enough for both.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Wrecking something takes an afternoon and rebuilding it takes a year, and that gap is one of the harder facts about being human. A friendship, a reputation, a habit, your own steadiness. Repair is not slow because God is withholding, it is slow because real things grow at the speed of real things. Patience is required at both ends, and He has enough of it.

If you are in the rebuilding part, stop measuring against the speed of the damage. Look for evidence across months instead of days. Keep doing the unglamorous repair work even while nobody has noticed it yet.
