A sibling stays inside the same history and the same kitchen whether either of you is in the mood for it. Irritation and loyalty live in one house here, and both of them are real.

Do one thing this week that treats them like a teammate rather than furniture. Ask about something they care about that you usually tune out. You are going to know each other longer than almost anyone.
