Get far enough from the city lights and the sky reminds you how much you’ve been missing.

The sky you see most nights is a heavily edited version. Streetlights wash out nearly everything, so you grow up assuming there are a few dozen stars up there. Get somewhere properly dark and it is suddenly crowded. What you can see has never been the same as what is actually there.
If you can get out of town one night this year, do it, and give your eyes twenty minutes to adjust. Leave the phone alone, because the screen resets them. The scale of it tends to make whatever you were stressed about feel a size smaller.
When did you last see stars without any streetlights nearby?
