Your growth chart didn’t stop at the doorframe.

Pencil marks on a doorframe stop when your height does, and it is easy to absorb the idea that growing already happened to you. Most of the growth that matters has no measurement: patience, nerve, what you can carry without falling over, how well you read a room. None of it gets marked on a wall, so it goes unnoticed.
Invent your own measure and check it once a year. What would have flattened you two years ago and does not now. Write it down, because nobody else is keeping this particular record.
What part of you grew this year that nobody measured?
