Take advice from people living the life you want, not just the people loudest about it.

Volume and expertise are unrelated, and confidence is cheap to produce. Plenty of people talk fluently about paths they have never walked, while the ones who did it are often quiet and hard to find. Advice is only useful when it comes from someone whose results you would actually accept. Checking the source is not rude but basic.

Before you take direction from anyone, look at what their life actually contains. Ask whether you would trade places with them in the specific area you are asking about. Then go find one person who is quietly doing the thing and ask them instead.
