One honest night of planning beats a year of “someday.”
CREATIVITY
CREATIVITY
Someday is comfortable because it requires no decisions and never fails. A plan, by contrast, forces you to name a date, admit what it costs and find out what you do not know yet. That hour is uncomfortable for exactly that reason, and it moves things that a year of intending does not. Vagueness is what keeps a goal permanently pleasant and permanently distant.
Give it one evening with a notebook and no phone. Write the actual first step, what it requires, and when you will do it. Put that step in the calendar before you go to bed, because a plan with no date is still someday.
What would an honest hour of planning tonight settle for you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
