LEADERSHIP
Ambition and resentment start from the same feeling and then split. One turns into attention on what you are building. The other turns into attention on someone else, which feels like motivation while quietly spending your energy on a scoreboard you do not control. It is also miserable to carry around all day.
When the feeling arrives, ask one question: does this make me want to work, or does it make me want them to lose. If it is the second, put the phone down and do fifteen minutes of your own thing.
