An anonymous account doesn’t change who’s typing. It just shows you who you are without a name tag.

Taking your name off does not change the person typing. It removes the part of you that was behaving for an audience, and whatever appears once that is gone was always available, only managed. That is uncomfortable, and it is also the most direct information you will ever get about your own defaults.

Read back something you posted without your name attached and ask whether you would sign it. If the answer is no, sit with that for a minute. Then write the next one as though your name were on it, because in every way that matters it is.
