A dirty win still counts on the scoreboard. It just doesn’t count anywhere else.

Results are recorded in one place and lived in another. The scoreboard has no way of knowing how the points arrived, so a win taken dishonestly looks identical from the outside and completely different from where you are standing. You end up holding a result you cannot fully claim, which is a strange kind of prize. The people who were there usually know too, even when they never bring it up.

If you took one this week that did not sit right, you do not have to announce it. Just decide how the next one gets won.
