You can win every argument in the huddle and still lose the team.

Being right in a disagreement and keeping a group together are two separate jobs, and they pull against each other more often than anyone admits. Every argument you flatten leaves someone slightly less willing to speak next time. Do that enough and you end up with people who agree out loud and disengage quietly. The scoreboard still says you won.
Next time you can see you are about to win, stop halfway and ask the other person to finish their point. Let them have the last sentence. You lose nothing real, and you keep someone who was about to check out.
Which argument did you win and pay for afterward?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
