Waiting for the whole group to agree is how road trips never leave the driveway.

LEADERSHIP
Unanimity is a very high bar and most groups never reach it, so requiring it is functionally a decision to do nothing. Someone always has a reservation, and waiting for that last person turns every plan into an indefinite discussion. Being fine with a plan is not the same as choosing it. Most people can live with a decision they did not make, as long as somebody made one.
Set a decision time out loud, hear everyone before it, then pick and say you are picking. Tell whoever disagreed that you heard them and why you went the other way. That is usually all they wanted.
What plan of yours stalled while waiting for everyone’s agreement?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
