Leading people who never push back feels great and teaches you nothing. Go find a group that argues.

LEADERSHIP
Agreement is comfortable and it is bad data. A group that never objects is either being careful around you or has stopped caring, and both look identical from the front of the room. Resistance is where you find out which of your ideas were any good. Without it you are hearing your own voice with a delay.
Ask someone who disagrees with you to explain why, and do not answer until they finish. If your group is silent, that is a signal about how safe you have made it rather than about how right you are. Change one thing because somebody pushed, and say out loud that is why.
Do the people around you ever tell you no?
