Feeling like a know-it-all is the first sign your learning just clocked out for the day.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Certainty feels great and works like a closed door. The moment you are sure you already have the picture, you stop taking in anything that would change it, and you can hold that position for years while the world keeps moving. It rarely announces itself as arrogance. It shows up as a mild sense that there is nothing more to hear on this one.

Use the feeling as a signal instead of a conclusion. When you notice it, ask one question you genuinely do not know the answer to, out loud, to someone who might. Being briefly unsure is the price of still learning.
