If someone’s main way of getting rich is selling you a course on getting rich, you already found the lesson.

Look at where the money is actually coming from. If the income is generated by teaching the method rather than by using it, then the method being sold is the selling. That is not proof it is worthless, but it tells you what the business really is, and it explains why the pitch works so hard on how you feel rather than on what the returns look like.

Apply the same check anywhere. Who profits if I believe this, and what would this person lose by showing me the boring numbers. Then take advice from people whose success came from doing the thing.
