Build enough order that creativity can happen safely around it.

Creativity needs somewhere reliable to stand. When the basics are handled, when there is a known process and a stable base, you can take real risks because a failure stays contained. Total disorder does not produce more creativity. It produces caution, because every experiment threatens something that matters.

Look at where you want to be more inventive and check what is unstable underneath it. Sorting out the routine parts is not a distraction from creative work. It is what makes the creative work affordable.
