Write the hard week down. Once it’s on paper, you’re the author instead of a character stuck inside it.

Something changes when a week stops living only in your head. On paper it has edges, a beginning and an end, and you can look at it from outside instead of from inside. Thoughts loop; sentences finish. The distance that gives you is small, but it is enough to make a choice from.
Take ten minutes tonight and write down what actually happened, in order, without judging any of it. Then read it back and underline the one part you still have some say over. That underlined line is where the week starts belonging to you again.
When did putting something on paper loosen its grip on you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
