Standing under a sky that big rearranges the size of things for a minute. Whatever has been loud in your head gets put next to something enormous and old, and the effect is not that your problems stop mattering. It is that the panic around them loosens and the wanting to understand comes back. Feeling small is where a lot of curiosity starts.
Get somewhere with fewer lights, even a park or a back step, and spend ten minutes looking up without your phone. Learn one constellation. It is a small thing that makes the ordinary sky permanently more interesting.
When did you last look up long enough to feel small?
