A friendship that ended wasn’t wasted. It carried you through a part of the road you needed to cross.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
A friendship ending does not retroactively delete what it did. Somebody was the right person for a specific stretch of road, and the road turning does not convert those years into a mistake. People outgrow each other with nobody having done anything wrong, which is harder to sit with than a clean villain would be.
Rather than auditing who was at fault, name two things you got out of it that you still carry. Then let it be a finished thing instead of an open question.
Which ended friendship got you through a stretch you needed?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
