Every time you hit the finish line you set, you’ll draw a new one. So learn to enjoy the running.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Finish lines move, and they tend to move the moment you cross them. Get the grade and the next grade appears. Make the team and the starting spot appears. That is not a flaw in your character, it is how wanting works, and it means arrival was never going to be the thing that satisfies you for long.
Since the running is where you actually live, make the daily version bearable. Train with people you like, pick a project that still interests you on a dull Tuesday, change the parts of the routine you dread.
Do you enjoy the work, or only the finishing of it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
