There’s a kid a few years behind you who needs exactly what you had to figure out alone. Go be that shortcut.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
A few years back along the same road, somebody is working out the thing you already worked out, and doing it alone because nobody told them. You are now holding information that took you a year and would take them one afternoon. That gap is the whole reason mentoring exists, and closing it costs you almost nothing.
Find the person two or three years behind you and tell them one specific thing you wish you had known. Not a speech, just the one piece of information. Then answer their questions when they come back.
Which younger kid could skip the struggle you went through?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
