Repeated behavior turns values into reflexes.

LEADERSHIP
Values held only as beliefs have to be retrieved and applied each time, which is slow and easily skipped. Repeated behaviour turns them into reflexes, so the response comes first and the reasoning, if you look for it, comes after. That is what people mean when they say someone has principles rather than opinions.
Pick one value you hold and find its smallest daily expression. Do that, repeatedly, until it stops requiring thought. Beliefs practised become instincts. Beliefs merely held stay theoretical.
Which of your values shows up without you thinking about it?
