If your plans fell apart, you might not be in a tragedy. You might just be at the plot twist.

Deciding what kind of story you are in from inside chapter six is unreliable work. A collapse reads as an ending from the inside because you cannot see any of the pages after it. Sometimes it really is a loss and it stays one. Often it is the part where the direction changes and the thing you end up doing was not available on the old path.
Hold off on naming the genre. Ask the smaller question instead: what does the next stretch need from you, this month. Getting through it is allowed to be the entire plan for now, and the meaning can be worked out later.
What if your collapsed plan is only the middle?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
