Gratitude is noticing the stuff that would wreck you if it disappeared tomorrow.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Reliability makes things invisible. Whatever is always there gets no attention, which means the things whose absence would flatten you are usually the ones you think about least: a person who always answers, a place to come back to, a body that does what you ask. Removal is the test that reveals them, and it is much better to run it in your head than to wait for it to run itself.
Pick one thing whose disappearance would genuinely wreck your week. Then do something small about it today. Say it to the person, or use the thing properly instead of half noticing it. Noticing alone fades by Thursday.
Which ordinary thing at home would gut you to lose?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
