Courage is usually just one awkward sentence long.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

People picture bravery as something large, and most of the time it is one line said in an uncomfortable moment. Can I join, I was wrong, I need help: that is the whole of it, six seconds, and then it is over and the situation has already changed shape. The size of the fear has very little to do with the size of the act.

Find your one sentence this week and get it out before you can revise it. Write it down first if that helps. The waiting is where all the difficulty lives.
