Quit being a fan of everybody else’s life and start playing in yours.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Watching is comfortable, and it produces the sensation of taking part without any of the exposure. You keep up with everything other people are building, you hold opinions about all of it, and none of it puts anything of yours at risk. Hours go by that feel spent and were only observed.
Swap one hour of watching this week for an hour of doing something badly. Your own project, your own practice, your own rough first attempt. Being a beginner at your own thing beats being an expert on somebody else’s.
How many of your hours went to watching other lives?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
