If you have to shrink your dreams to fit the friend group, the friend group is too small.

REFLECTION
Groups quietly set a ceiling, and it is almost never stated out loud: how seriously anyone admits to wanting something, how much effort is allowed before it turns into a joke. Staying comfortable there means trimming what you say you want until it fits the room. Friendship is not supposed to charge that.
Say the full-size version of what you want to one person this week. Watch what they do with it. The ones who ask a follow-up question are worth more of your time, and you can find a couple more like them without abandoning anybody.
Which goal do you downplay so your friends stay comfortable?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
