Improve enough that comparison becomes unnecessary.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Comparison usually intensifies where you feel uncertain. When you actually know what you can do, other people’s positions become information rather than a verdict, and the compulsion to measure quietly fades. It is not that comparison becomes forbidden. It becomes irrelevant.
Rather than trying to stop comparing, work on the underlying uncertainty. Get good enough at something that you have your own evidence. The need to check where you rank drops away on its own.
Who do you measure yourself against most often?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
