The right kind of stubborn is refusing to give up on yourself.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Stubbornness gets treated as one trait when it is really a direction. Pointed at an argument you should have dropped, it costs you friends and time. Pointed at your own capacity to get better, it is the thing that keeps you in the room long after everyone with more natural talent has left.
Notice where yours is going this week. If it is busy defending a position, consider spending it on persistence instead. Being hard to convince and being hard to discourage run on the same engine, and only one of them takes you anywhere.
What have you refused to quit despite slow progress?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
