A car can have a perfect engine and still go nowhere if nobody picks a destination.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Capability and direction are separate problems, and being good at things solves only one of them. You can have the grades, the discipline and the energy, and still spend years busy without going anywhere in particular, because none of that answers the question of where. Effort without a destination just runs the engine. It is not wasted, exactly, but it is not travel either.

Rather than adding another skill this week, spend twenty minutes writing down what you would like to be true in two years. It can be rough and it can change. A vague answer still steers better than none.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

You have the ability, so what are you aiming at?
