Make yesterday’s excuses obsolete.

Excuses are usually accurate at the time they are made. What makes them worth attention is that they persist long after the conditions that justified them have changed, becoming a reason you no longer question. Obsolescence is the goal: fix the underlying thing so the excuse stops being available.
Take the reason you have given most often for not doing something and check whether it is still true. If it is not, notice how long you kept using it after it stopped applying.
Which of your excuses has outlived the situation that created it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
