Losing teaches you how to win in a language that winning never speaks.

CREATIVITY
Winning tells you that something worked and nothing about which part. Everyone plays well, nobody examines anything, and the mistakes stay hidden inside the result. A loss opens all of it up: the gap in preparation, the decision made at the wrong moment, the thing you have been getting away with. It is a harsher teacher and a far more specific one.
After the next thing that does not go your way, give it a day, then spend ten minutes on what you would change rather than on how it felt. Write two lines. That is enough to turn a bad afternoon into something you can use.
What did a loss show you that victory kept hidden?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
