Fast growth and good growth are not the same thing. Something can shoot up because it puts nothing into roots, takes whatever is nearest, and does not have to last. That is why a thing arriving quickly is worth a second look rather than automatic admiration. The question is never how fast, it is what is underneath.
When something in your life is growing quickly, a friendship, a following, a new obsession, ask what it is built on. If the answer is real, enjoy the speed. If there is nothing under it, slow it down on purpose before it decides for you.
